Fellow plant geeks: Just a quick note to let everyone know I will be speaking at the Brookside Gardens Orchid Club tomorrow, Sunday June 20th at 1PM on the topic of hybridization, flasking, and seed development.Some of you may have caught the talk last month at the Maryland Orchid Society. Those of you who did, thanks for coming & hope you enjoyed it.
For those of you who have or will miss both of the above, I will also be giving the talk to the Susquehanna Orchid Society soon.

Julia, Thanks for the awesome talk on hybridization and raising orchid seeds at the BGOC meeting today. Having done a little bit of plant tissue culture (we attended one of Carol Stiff's home tissue culture classes), I was reassured to learn that many of the same techniques apply. Hopefully, I'll have a chance to try some orchid pollination in the near future.
